info...

I now need to get more feedback on the changes I have made to my video. I think I have sorted out the problem of the clips keeping some of their sounds, so that the track is the only thing heard. I have also changed my video from my storyboard to fit the music better. I have also used a lot of effects in my video so add to the idea of it being quite abstract. This idea matches my products (digi-pak/posters).

target audience...

My music video I think would match the target of teenagers, but probably not mainstream as the video and track are quite abstract. The design of my products to promote the video/band would probably appeal to them more; as I think they look quite original and different, which may catch people's eye, even if they have never heard of the band or their songs. Also the track doesn't have lyrics, but other tracks on the album may have - which would appeal to a wider audience.

feedback...

After some feedback on my video I have continued to edit it.
I have improved the pace even more to match the music.
I also had feedback that said I needed more varied shots in the piano scene, so I edited them to include a close up and a different angled shot. As editing this part set the shots out of time with the music I re-edited the timing to match the beat.
Other feedback suggested that I had used to many flashes in one sequence, so I edited out some flashed and kept the main flashes on the beat that worked best with the music.
I also had feedback saying that parts of my video with quite repetitive. To change this I edited out some shots and replaced them with shots I had filmed but never used, this increased the shot variation. Although some of my video is meant to be repetitive I didn't want it to be too much. Even though my video repeats some of the same shots to go backwards at the end, I didn't repeat all of the same shots and they're not in exactly the same order - but they look like they're the same as the start but going backwards although they're not.

digi-pak ideas...

Using a sample digi-pak design I created one for my band's CD. It uses synergy by following the theme of the visualization and space, it also uses the bands logo on the CD and the same fonts and colours as the other related products.
I also created a variation on the back covers as I thought this idea works better.
I will add feedback on what other people thought.

I now need to get more feedback on my video after the editing changes I have made.
I am also going to create some variations of my posters and CD covers and ask for ideas for the target audience of my video.
